UX: Grocery Store App Interface
Mobile App

Overview
This project was for the class LIS 341: Intro to Interaction Design. This was our final project where two other classmates and myself were tasked with creating an interactive interface prototype. The project was built upon different parts we had to complete over the course of the semester. The assignment was to observe an activity and from that identifying the main problem that that activity faced. We chose the process of grocery shopping and defined our problem statement which was that "Grocery store layouts of categories, items, and checkouts should be efficient for customers". With that we conducted user interviews, generated ideas through affinity diagrams, wire-framed iterations of our app, and finally were able to design a prototype that would solve this issue.
Problem
How might we design an experience which makes grocery shopping easier and more efficient?
Solution
1. Allow users to skip checkout
2. Provide users with a map of the store
3. Create a distinct fruit vs vegetable section, so users can find what they need quicker.
